FIELD PREPARATION GUIDE
FIRST, MAKE THE AREA SAFE.
A leaking hydraulic hose can leave a machine unable to work, but high-pressure fluid is also a serious hazard. A pinhole jet can penetrate the skin even when the wound looks minor. Stop using the equipment and keep people clear of the suspected leak. Follow the machine manufacturer’s shutdown, isolation and stored-energy procedures; only appropriately trained personnel should depressurize or repair the system.
WHAT TO HAVE READY WHEN YOU CALL.
You do not need to identify the exact fitting before calling us. These details help us evaluate whether on-site replacement is practical and what materials may be needed.
Machine and location
Give the equipment make, model, a short description of the affected function and the city or jobsite location. Explain whether the equipment is on level ground, securely parked and safely accessible.
Where the failed line runs
If it can be done without approaching a leak or energized equipment, a wider photograph can show the general hose route and adjacent components. Do not reposition a damaged line to improve the picture.
Readable hose cover markings
From a safe position, capture manufacturer markings, nominal hose size and any visible pressure or specification information. Markings can narrow the hose family, but they do not prove the entire replacement specification.
Both end connections
Separate photos of each accessible fitting can help establish whether more identification is needed. Angle, seal design and thread form matter; pictures alone may not be conclusive.
Work conditions and urgency
Describe any access restrictions, fluid spill concerns, environmental hazards, lifting needs or special equipment requirements. Note whether the assembly must be accompanied by certified testing documentation.
WHY WE ASK THESE QUESTIONS.
A replacement hose needs the correct size, pressure capability, suitable hose-and-coupling combination, sealing style, length and routing. A similar-looking line or end fitting may not be interchangeable. The better the initial information, the easier it is to assess inventory and avoid unnecessary travel.
Our operating plan emphasizes manufacturer-compatible components and finished-assembly inspection. Certified proof testing, when required, must be arranged separately. We are currently preparing for a tentative December 1, 2026 launch; calls and general inquiries are welcome, but field dispatch has not started.
