COMPONENT SELECTION
THE RIGHT PARTS WORK TOGETHER.
Two hoses may look alike yet differ in their reinforcement, pressure capability, temperature range, fluid compatibility and minimum bend radius. A replacement also needs the correct end connection type, orientation and overall assembly length. Getting one element wrong can create leaks, premature failure or unsafe routing.
Our planned field workflow includes identifying the existing application, checking the requested replacement against published component data, cutting and assembling the hose with compatible fittings and the specified crimp setup, then visually and dimensionally checking the finished assembly.
Compatibility matters: hose and couplings from different systems are not automatically interchangeable. We will follow the relevant manufacturer’s qualified combinations and current crimp specifications, not simply combine parts that appear to fit.
Information we try to establish
- Hose ID, construction and required working-pressure rating.
- Hydraulic fluid and relevant operating conditions.
- Thread, seal style, fitting angle and orientation.
- Finished assembly length, routing and bend requirements.
- Whether the application calls for special testing or documentation.
